Anything from training articles to calls that we have gone on in my area, to issues going on in the fire service around the country. Whatever I feel as important. I would also like a place to record calls to be able to look back on in twenty years or so. This isn't just limited to firefighting as a first responder it will also be covering ems.

littlemissjohndeere: soflafirefighter: No body said it would be easy.  No one said that making the decision to run back into a building on fire would be a simple one to make.  But if I can go in and find one person, one person that when all else failed called me to come save them, and carry them out to safety…I’ll die for that.  I’ll die to carry your son or daughter, your mom or dad, your best friend or your family pet out of a fire that would kill them.  I’m not some hero, I dont want to be called one.  I’m just doing my job.  I’m doing what I was trained to do.  At a Fire Academy that kicked my ass, so that when this day came, I would be completely ready.  I’m a Firefighter.  This is my calling.
